Screwdriver Mold

The goal of this project was to simulate bringing a product to market. A pseudo client has the idea of a new screwdriver handle that they would like to bring to the market. The design process began with 3D modeling of the new handle. The end product was that everyone’s pseudo client got their handle made.

Fixture Tooling Design

In this project, the goal was to design tooling that could handle six operations in one cycle. Using off-the-shelf, an 80/20 design approach, is used to maximize the design.

Geneva Wheel

In order to demonstrate our proficiency in Solidworks one project was to create a geneva wheel. Once the model was created, the model had to be animated. Using motion analysis in Solidworks inputs are simulated on the model to see virtually how it will behave.
